A quick update...
So I was a little bummed today when I found out Twisted Choppers still does not have their new bender yet, so my springer fork is delayed even longer...
Without the front end I'm not getting the roller together to go up on the lift so I'll just give you a sneak peek at the ass end...
I got the rubber on earlier today and set up the axle spacing... pretty easy in this case. The PM hubs and the PM rear brake caliper pretty much do everything on their own, only one .75 inch spacer on the left and thats it.
I can still feel a little play but that will be taken up later by the chrome. I also see that the tire needs to move a hair to the left, maybe .2 at the most so I'll get another taller top-hat spacer that fits out-board of the brake caliper bracket; I had to do the same thing on my other CFL.
Fender dropped in just fine but I don't think I'm using this one. I want it to come back a bit more, like 11 o'clock looking at the right side. I also don't like the chain/belt cut out on this one. Probably do a B'Cool (10 to 12 gauge) or a Twisted Choppers (13 gauge). No need to fuss with internal struts with metal that stout and I'll have round bar struts in the back anyway.
So from here it will probably be another two weeks to get all the parts together and get the full roller. I'm gonna hold off on the pics until then because there will be a huge difference between the way it was and how it will look soon.
For now... the start of mock up;

Thanks for the suggestion, but my rear wishbone has been widened by .75" and I'm running a 200 tire with a 1.5" pulley (yes, it actually fits)... So I don't think the web struts are going to match up right. Also, I'm running a Springer in front so no fender there.

Those are leather washers I got from LowBrow Customs (only about $8 for a pack of 12). Many builders have various ways of preventing damage to the paint on the fender after it is bolted to the bungs, the most poular I've seen on this forum is welding a washer to the fender and then cleaning the paint off the metal to meatal contact surfaces.
I decided to try this on my last CFL build, the theory is still un-tested since that bike has not returned from paint yet. I mock up the fender with the leather washer and two thin stainless washers between the bung and the fender. If my math is correct the thickness of any body work and paint on the fender will take up the gap of the two washers leaving the leather washer to absorb vibration and friction between the bung and the fender.
I know Randy's fenders are bomb proof, but I think I'm going with the Twisted Choppers fender. It is 13 gauge and laser cut around the radius. But the main reason is they said they would hook me up because of the delay on the Springer. I paid for it back in December but it was just bad timing since they had scrapped their old bender the day before. They are pissed at their equipment supplier who had promised delivery of the new machine in the 2nd week of January.

Same seat set up as before, just a different seat on 3 inch springs. Its a really nice mahogany color, plain with no gay tooling, nice baseball stitching. It had it mocked up a few days ago but took it off, it looked sweet. You'll see it again back on the bike when I get the roller set back up. Still waiting on tranny, 3 inch belt drive, springer, etc.

I gotta go with a horizontal mount like I did on my other CFL... verticals are illegal in CA and AZ now. I was going to to another Fab Kevin set up but since he doesn't return my emails maybe you could try your own recipe horizontal mount? That's the style tail light I wanted anyway, sans the chopper fucker deal cause it wouldn't work on a horizontal. Go with tabs instead of bullet bungs, might cause clearance issues with my pulley. Also, I like having a 12 point nut on the back... I've had my issues with galled bolts.
