Squeaky wheel gets the grease. Just call or text him every once in a while for an update. He has all those big $$ projects now, so he will need reminders that your stuff has been in line for a while.

So at some point he told FlySoCal he has something wild and new in mind…. so I am still waiting to see what that will be!

Having said that, now we're REALLY looking forward to seeing the progress on this one!

This is exactly what I'd recommend doing too!

No paint job is worth a two year wait to me, I don't give a damn who paints it. If he didn't tell you up front there would be a 2+ year turnaround time, I would feel angry and disrespected.

Trust me guys, had I known 2 years ago it would work out this way I would never have gotten into this deal. Anyway, I am up at his shop at least 2 times a month. Progress has been made, as in primer and body work but thats the last I saw about 2 weeks ago. he knows I am pissed because I am missing the show (Kustom Kulture Festival in SD) because it was not done by the end of July. So that's 2 of the same show I have missed plus Born Free this year. My patientce has worn very thin and the only reason I didn't lose my mind a long time ago was getting laid-off from my job in Phoenix, moving home to SD, dealing with my sick Parents, and getting back to work myself... All those things are taken care of so now its time to get this beast rolling.

I feel you on what you've had to go through, a month ago my girlfriend/fiancee of three years abruptly had an identity/mid life crisis (but at 21), moved half her shit out, and has been staying at the house of a female coworker. I don't even know if we're still together, she just says she needs time to work on herself. I'm trying to be patient and give her space but it's a really shitty feeling.

Funny how bike problems suddenly don't seem so bad...

Serge's dominator is still sitting next to the paint booth wall, untouched. I have not seen the Tins. No offense to Serge, but if his Dom gets painted before my CFL I will loose my mind.

Damn I believe he told him body work and base coat was done like a month ago. Not good. And I I don't see why yours should not be done.

I dropped off CFL140 sporty build tank, fender etc a couple weeks ago. I didn't even ask TA because I could tell he was backed up. Saw Clouds frame (untouched) and Serge's stuff untouched. Timing is bad with the new paint shop and large jobs coming in. I'm confident he will get it done and you will be very happy just sucks the timing was off. Can't wait to see 3 more paint sets from Pete. Time is up for you just don't forget your dealing with an Artist.
