I didn't have a tape handy but I'm saying 10 inches... No way more than 12 and they look taller than 8 inches. The HotBike feature on his CFL doesn't mention the height but does say they were WCC bars. My old WCC catalog (I have the trick hardcover copy) doesn't even have the mini apes in it, just the Diablo and Super-Duper bars and no details.

Here is the HotBike spread on his CFL; Hot Dog
If you look around you might be able to find better details.

I agree about the RevTech, I was disappointed to see that in an otherwise sweet CFL.

I tend to leave the Rickshaw straw hat at home, I get harassed by 5-O enough when I ride my trike on the boardwalk at Pacific Beach and other places. they always yell at me 'No Pedi-Cabs!'... Dude, does this look like a ghetto ass pedi-cab? I've gotten used to the harassment, so I keep my answer simple, "No Officer, I'm not a Pedi-cab, this is my personal bike and I'm not selling rides... The two bitches on the back seat are my Friday afternoon, and if you think they're skanky you should see my Saturday night!"

.... Ok, I made the last part up, but don't we all have fantasies?

I'm positive there are many RevTech motors out there that run just fine, look like any other V-twin, and several in CFL's. My objection to RevTech is simply that they are made (or mostly made) over-seas, and its just my feeling that it defeats the spirit of the American built Chopper. Then again, just about everything is made or partially made over seas. I can't say every part of My CFL is made in America, but I tried my best. CFL frame from the LBC, S&S mill from Wisconsin, Baker Trans from Michigan, PM wheels and brakes from California, Dam Raider Mid Controls, Fab Kevin plate mount and Brake Light... and so on. On the flip side, my Electronics are mostly from Germany, hand controls from Sweden, and I'll bet my ass a bunch of little stuff and even components of the big stuff were pressed, milled, or molded over-seas...

Garage re-model

I wish I had a more CFL-related post for my build thread, but while its in paint there isn't much going on...
So last weekend my roommate got a wild ass hair to do some work in the garage. he had this concrete floor machine that he had used for work and had one night to use it at home, so we gutted the garage and shaved the floor level. Since we were at it we figured we'd paint everything too (I didn't pick the colors)... I wish I had before pictures, but you can see a little of the dungeon in the background of previous pics on this thread.

BTW, Home Depot Behr concrete stain is garbage, don't buy it. Adam is more pissed than he lets on, after all that work the floor just looks like it was painted brown rather than a stain. We should have sprung the extra cash on the real acid based concrete treatment... which they don't sell at Home Depot...

Selling off spare parts from this build

I posted the Black Stainless 40 Spoke Wheels I used for mock up here; PhotoPost Classifieds - WCC CFL Black Spoke Wheels (or for any Chopper) - Powered by PhotoPost Classifieds

After that I will also post a complete front end for 2 up CFL's w/ Death Dealer Style 3 degree Trees, Black H-D fork Sliders, Forking by Frank 4" over tubes, fully assembled with all seals, springs, bushings, etc. It will be a few weeks before this is available.

I also have an Exile Sprocket Brake, complete with 48 tooth sprocket and weld on mount tab. The caliper is powder coated black, sprocket is chrome. No mounting bolts for sprocket.

Have some other small stuff too; Pair of Dyna Tech Coils 3 ohm single fire (green), Also a Daytona Twin Tech 3 Ohm Single fire coil (the standard one piece unit), a chrome voltage Regulator... I'll add pics when I get a chance.

PM if interested.

I wish... The bike has been with Hot Dog since Sept 9th. He's been painting FlySoCal's bike and if you check Hot Dog's Facebook page he's posted pics of a Hot Rod he's been doing. Remember, my bike was taken in on trade for the 140 CFL roller so I take a back seat to the ca$h paying customers. I imagine I might see my CFL back after the new year...

I guess the real news is I'll be starting a new build thread soon. I picked up a complete CFL for less than $10K which is on the way from MN to AZ as we speak. It's pretty ugly and needs a few minor changes (springer fromt end, different rear fender, proper seat mount). Has a soild HD 80" crate Evo in it, 6400 miles, the owner was a real rider, not a 500 mi hanger queen... more to come after Thanksgiving.

P.s. Thanks for bumping my build thread!
