2012 cfl 4 up build - australia

i have always loved west coast choppers and the bikes that were built by them since i watched motor cycle mania 1 all those years ago and since that day i wanted one , i needed one !! in 2009 i finally jumped on the v-twin band wagon and got myself a 95 harley heritage softail and pulled it down to the frame and motor the day i bought it lol , over the next 9 months i built a pretty killer ride ,

i finally got the scoot on the road and then to my horror 5 weeks after being on the road i was hit from behind and luckily jumped of and out of the way before the bike was taken down the road by the front of the indians car  so after insurance and all that went through i was paid out and got to keep the wreck so i sold that off and ended up with enough dollars to go and see my painter who owned a cfl that he bought from Jesse back in 2005 when he went and stayed with hot dog for a week or so , he told me Jesse offered it to him for a killer price as a customer had just pulled out on him and it was on the floor ready to be picked up and it's a 250 tyre frame ! mat obviously brought it back to australia with him and ....

This is what my cfl looked like when i first bought it back in 2010 :

i rode the shit out of it for the first 4 months i owned it , then came winter and i decided i was gonna pull the bike down and start again so i sold the Denver front end (which is no good for bumpy Aussie roads) and other parts so i could replace them with wcc parts i even had the wheels re-machined and chromed so it wasn't easily recognized as mat's bike and the frame and tins sand blasted and the filler work all done again and i got a seat of prick and frame tabs mounted and start putting together my dream bike :

The more I look at the paint job on this bike the more I love it. Not a fan of the green flames though, but everything is is awesome.
