As everyone knows, I'm in no hurry.

Because I have another bike to ride, I've taken my time gathering parts. And I always got what I was looking for,......good quality parts,......always new,......but at super bargains. Because I'm doing all the labor,........I'll be building this bike for under 15k.

The risers came with smooth chrome riser caps that screwed on with one stud in the center. The caps, that came from a completely different sorce, had the exact same threaded stud.

I'll have to look through my paper work and get you some info.

I also would like to know about the riser caps, What size are those risers? the risers I've been looking at have FTW caps, but if I can get 44 mag caps I'd get them..

Those in my picture are 8 inch,......they look longer because the tank isn't mounted, it's just laying low on the back bone.

After months of losing the bidding wars on eBay, finally found some Hellbents on craigslist. Yes!

Alright, so got the exhaust sorted out. When the first ones arrived, they had O2 holes even though I asked before they shipped and was told they didn't. Not a big deal, but looked for another set. After buying a second set, I could see they were slightly different. Finally found some brand new Hellbents in the box from WCC with hardware marked for EVO softail. Done.

Also got my rear fender, web struts, and seat pan from TWOWHLSIRVIVR. Man, these things look awesome. Excellent quality work and a great guy to deal with. If you need some parts get ahold of him! Gonna get a few more things and hopefully start making some progress...

Not much progress going on right now. Assembled the front end and working on mocking up the rear fender/web struts/seat I got from TWOWHL. Oh and trying to grab some stuff on eBay when I can...$$$$ ouch. Recently got some NIB Hell Bents (and sold the used ones I had), WCC shamrock A/C and some new shop equipment to help the build. Hope to get back at it soon!

Looking good man.

With your front axle, do you unscrew the axle nut/tube all the way until it hits each side of both shocks? I'm currently doing mine and just making sure this is the right way of doing it.
