They look closer to what the shop bikes ran. Of course I would wait until the drivetrain is completely bolted on before checking these for fitment.

Don't like the fact that the pegs are mounted solid, they don't fold.

Non-folding pegs are illegal in Australia.

Fab Kevin does a nice line of plates for mid mounts.

If they are illegal I'll probably get the set I posted. Anyway enough about that That's months away at the rate I'm going.

Tried fucking with the inner primary today, and it's hopeless. I bolted the motor down, put the inner primary on without the trans in the frame and it bolted up fine, it bolts up to the trans fine on it's own too.

Now look how high the trans is sitting with 3 bolts in the motor side, 2 bolts fully tight, the 3rd (bottom right) has binded up, and the 4th has no chance of going in. The trans has lifted so high the studs don't come through the bottom of the mounting plate any more.

Kind of stuck here. Have no idea what to do, I'm guessing the motor mounts on the frame aren't in the right place, because remember I had to grind of a few things to even make the motor fit.

So shit.

I have every part in my garage ready to put on (or try), I bought the frame as part of a kit.

I'll talk to my supplier and see what he has to say, I'll also contact Mike directly through Ebay.

Man it sucks, I'll be waiting at least 2 or 3 months here for the frame to get back me.

Yea, that sucks big time. At the moment I am deciding between a CFL or Kraft Tech frame. On one of the post on this site a guy had to fill and weld the holes and re- drill the holes for the whole drive train to make it work. His motor was not siting on the mounts correctly either.

My suggestion is:
1) Bolt down the rear motor mounts.
2) Check fornt of motor to see if it sits flat, add shims if needed.
3) Bolt inner primary to engine and trans.
4) Check trans to see if it needs shims. If it is too much for shims you may need to raise the trans mount. (We had to lower mine almost 1/8 inch after we got the motor sitting flat.)
Anything can be made to fit, it's all steel and fabrication. Just take your time and think it out.

I would do that, motor aligment with drive train and tight in frame is very important other wise you will only have issues.
