My 4up CFL build

I'm so f'n stoked. So today i got a sweet deal i think. I got this frame its an 04 4up. they had set it up for a panhead 4 speed so the seat post got a little extra notching and the tranny plate has been changed. frame did not come with axle covers or axle. no badging either. but got a wcc fender with web struts and O.G. oil tank and some custom gas tank sold it. The frame is not setup for the OG oil tank so if anyone wants to trade? I payed $1000 buck for this deal. i'm going to take it down and have it sand blaster to see what under. than going to hack off everything and start fresh. Hey frank from back of neck to center of seat post it is 29" is this a 1 out?

looks good. you should be able to use that oil tank if you cut off the battery box and weld 2 blind bungs in there for the rear mounts.

fender looks to be set up too, bungs already in etc. good score man. 4 speed tranny set up, but a pan or generator shovel motor wont fit in an unmodified frame, the front legs close to where the foot pegs go would hit the peanut side. but cone shovels fit fine. Ive got one in mine. What a great score, did you get paperwork with the frame ? good luck should be lots of fun.

Yeah I could cut the battery box off and weld two tab that is what the frame is setup for. Got the mso but last number was off. He is looking in to it got all his info and photo copy of ID we tryed calling wcc but they were on lunch. Seemed to be some kinda mix up. Last number looks like a 4 but mso is 7 he said he had called to get new mso but must have gave them wrong number he thinks or they messed up. So we'll see I was at the shop the mso was signed to.

Looks nice, cool paint. I would add some clamps for the batt box it makes a nice spot for wiring/fuses and you wont have to grind on it.

JSP,...........just measured my back bone and it "is" 29 inches from the back of the neck to the center of the seat post so,...........looks like you "do" have a 1-out frame.

And boy,..that tank looks a hell of a lot cooler in primer.
