Nelster. I cut the tab off. Also I got your pm I'll get back to you after work.

Bullet. No problems I did make my own spacers though.

I have frame almost wired and I started the body work on rear fender. But having issues block filler primer it gumming up on the paper. I have all my polish and anodizing back just waiting on chrome. Also I'm just putting primer on tins and frame. Will paint later. I'm going through a separation right now so my minds been somewhere else.

Couple pics of wiring not finished but most is ran. I drille top of the backbone then drilled a hole and remeded it open from backbone to down tube then ran a couple wires to fish and welded back up.

Looking awesome! Keep on the bike, it's a great distraction from the separation. I remember the first chopper i built in FL, leaving the shop at 2 am, coming back at 6 am, and by 10 am the wife was in there telling me she was moving out.

like an idiot chasing a toughguy 3 blocks out of a bar to get my a$$ kicked, i got her to come back, and she divorced me a couple months later, but that bike was there to take me all over town the rest of the day.

Splits are always a good thing. no longer wasting time in a bad spot. Keep your chin up and keep wrenching!

i've used both the exile and the hhi ones. they are slick, but didn't grab as tight as i'd like. of course something inherently flawed about an oily chain on a brake surface.

some guys recommended a smaller brake line and cylinder size to make them as effective as possible.

Thanks. The splits been coming for awhile. I think I realized more that I was spending more time in the garage or on other people projects than with my family. I have my son only 50% of the time where I used to see him everyday. So now I realized its more important to spend the time I have with him doing stuff than it is wrenching.

Oh I got the mesh from a buddy let me see if I can find out where he got it. I like it a lot. I did not use a wiring harness I used two breakers mounted under trans. One 30 amp from there I have one wire going to regulator and one going to ignition switch from ignition switch one goes to starter and one goes back down to a 15 amp breaker from there one goes to head light one goes to ignition one goes to brake light and running light. It would be best to have two 15 amp breakers one for ignition and one for lights but I keep things as simple as possible. And my grounds from head light and brake light run back to breakers and just get bolted down on mounting tab.

Thanks frank that exactly what I did on my buddy's bike. I was looking at it and I might slip the mesh in more and that way the stem rubs the mesh. I mean really you don't get that much movement on stem anyways.

Yeah, you're right,....no up and down or side to side movement at all. Just twisting everytime you turn it. Between your mesh and wire insulation itself,......probably will never damage it but, you never know, especially if while working on the bike, the wires are pulled tight in the neck and end up right against the stem. Better safe than sorry.

Did those wires go through into the back bone and travel back through it?
