My CFL is on hold for now,.........I'm in the middle of 3 cars that I'm working on to sell. A 56 Bel Air, a 77 Corvette, and a 69 big block Impala.

The CFL is a roller, and the parts list is complete except for a drive train and wiring.

Hopefully, the sale of the cars will fund the completion of the bike.

Been busy man..........Lost two grandparents this year, running mother-in-law to dialasis 70 miles away 3 days a week, father-in-law getting ready to have a double by-pass in a week, and work work work, not much time for anything else...know what I mean......hopefully though, I'll be able to finish up my cfl this year....scored a transmission for Christmas from my wife, that was the last item needed to complete my list so I'm ready to finish her off!!!

Btw, I inherited a 60' biscayne from my greatgrandmother a couple months back, getting ready to do a frame off resto on it in the not-to-distant future...

Sorry to hear about the troubles Matt,........my condolences to you and your family. Believe me,.....I know how "time" is at a premium sometimes, and it hard to find some, to work on your toys.

That's a very cool car to do up, (I hope it's a 2 door )..........keep us posted on it "and" the CFL progress.

Yeah, it's a two door, factory red, factory air. She was the original owner so I'm the second. Should be fun...i've got lot's of ideas for it....guess cash will be the determining factor as to how far I'll be able to go with it. Body is in decent shape no major body work needed, no cancer. Gonna pull body off and get the frame prepped for powder first I think. Have already pulled drive train out of her...76,000 original miles.

On my CFL project, I'll get a thread posted up here on it in the not too distant future when I really get moving on it.

Great,.........4 doors suck.

That sounds like an awesome score,........1 owner,......low miles,.....2 door,..........CHEVY,.........and my favorite plus,............."no major body work needed".

It doesn't matter what direction you go with that car,........you could just restore it factory original and throw some chrome wheels on it and that would be a bad ass cruiser. Good luck with it.

Hey Matt

I would recommend painting the frame instead of powder. When the powder chips you can't just touch it up like you can with paint. Maybe it's just me but I have not had good luck with powder coating holding up well at all.

Was also considering just using truck bed liner on the frame....still don't know yet what direction to go...

Wow - 2 full pages of no WCC bikes.
Does this signal the end of this thread?
