I didn't design, bend the tubing and weld together my CFL frame, so I don't mind the WCC axle covers and neck badge.
On the other hand, I have six gun risers and oil bag cap that don't say Jesse James or Choppers Inc on the bullets,.....because they are neither.
If I pryed the bullets out and put in JJ bullets,....that would be worshipping the name over the product.
You're all about removing labeling, like with your HD, and that's your decision, but there's different degrees to this, that I'm sure even you, will agree.
I'm sure you don't sand off the Avon, Metzeler, etc.... names off your tires, wouldn't remove the "Baker" engraving off a transmission, or file down the PM, Jaybrake, or Brembo names off some brake calipers,...how about removing the S&S from the heads of an engine?
Just because people choose to have many genuine WCC parts on their WCC build, (and can actually afford them ) doesn't make them,...in your own words,...."all you other advertising fools".
It's all how you word things, Rick, and you really have a nack of putting people down, perhaps without realizing it, ...because then today you say, "to each his own".

Well stated points both of ya guys... man never thought it out like that Frank, honestly I can see Barefoot's point though in a skewed way.. I didn't want a Harley, been done, it's corporate, more like a Jap bike then what it used to be these days.. I don't want a cookie cutter anything, my personal taste.. I always thought it was funny that bikers were "rebels " and "independant" and the first thing everyone does is run out and buy a Harley and get the standard uniform.. Jeans, Black boots, harley T-shirt, do rag, sunglasses, black leathers or vest... lol.. now I have this stuff too and some of it is out of necessity and honestly it has all "been done" with custom bikes and Jesse makes some nice stuff, very clean lines and brought back a lot of old school cool in my opinion but the more maltese crosses and T-shirts I see the less I really want anything with one on it.. or flames.. or OCC.. or skulls.. or standard black.. lol man not leaving myself much ..

i think you all have a great point. The basis for freedom is opinion and for lack of a better word "tastes" I think there are extremes in all things and when they get there then they get lopsided. If I prefer a certain type of bike over another dosent mean I dislike the other type of bike. Infact there are good and bad in all styles it boils down to taste. But then there is just malicious attack for the sake of drawing lines. Do I like the easter egg long bikes. No , but ive seen some damn nice paint work and fab, and electrical work. But I dont think i would jump on someone elses thread attempt to belittle em and then call em sheep, then repost with to each his own. Dont fool yourself. we all know what we like and dont like. I appreciate this thread for what it is. Some other WCC bikes, do i like em all probably not. But can i appreciate the work .HELL YEAH does it mean i worship jesse james ? no. Is there anything new or unique ?? well we all know the answer to that question. Frank I appreciate your patience and ability to explain and express yourself in a competant manner. I would have just told the jack ass to go fuck himself . thanks , didnt mean to rant

Here is a link to the spread on the sidecar bike built for the airstream co,
i think rastoy was askin
http://www.khulsey.com/motorcycles/z...sse_james.html
heres a blurb about the start of it...If somebody told us that a custom chopper was being built for Airstream, we would have assumed that the Orange County Chopper boys were behind it. Not so, it seems. According to the press release pasted after the jump, Jesse James of West Coast Choppers fame and his crew are hammering, riveting and welding together thin sheets of aluminum to construct a custom motorcycle and sidecar combo that will debut at the 2008 Legend of the Motorcycle show on May 3rd. This is the second time that James has released a new bike at the show, the first being back in '06 with his Radial Hell bike (shown above) that is powered by a Rotec 7-cylinder radial engine normally reserved for powering aircraft. We're always up for a new take on motorcycle design, and the idea of strapping the Monster bike to an old Airstream trailer has us wondering just what Jesse's bike will look like.

There was no belittling involved with my original statement, not to any person here. Just an opinion on the 2 bikes. If you take that as belittlement, get some thicker skin!!! The sheep comment can be applied to any huge following, not a put down, more an observation. I'm not going to stoop to your level by calling names.

The statement I made about "affording" WCC parts was regarding the extremely high cost,....not whether "you" could afford them or not.
And initially, the only "personal" thing I said to you, in response was, "one thing you are not is...unpredictable"....post #26
Only after you stated that you were "glad this erks" me, and being called "fukin sheep", did I begin the retaliatory "putting down" remarks....Post #30

I was holding off on these, because I'm trying to show the "out of the ordinary" bikes. These are Dominators, but cool ones at that.

OK, Tod, I'll hit the "Grindhouse" bikes now.
Then back to the "Different builds".
