i wonder what the deal is with that - why they don't sell those. maybe to keep them in their back pocket for exclusive custom builds for celebs and folks with deep pockets?

Well it's just like the handle bar risers. You can't buy 6 gun risers, because those are saved for shop built bikes, too.
I would think they would have to save a certain amount of WCC parts for bikes built at the shop.
If not, what would be so special about them if you could get everything they offer and build it at home.

Who knows the difference between the El Diablo and the El Diablo II?
It's not whether they are rigid or swing arm, because I've seen both offered in both models.

I saw this next bike at Laconia in 2002. It was Jesse's Camel Road House special construction for that year.
The Bonneville Streamliner Drag Bike was based on a single down tube, softtail El Diablo.
160 hp - 126ci S&S engine
Baker RSD trans.
250 rear tire
Perse performance front end with Race Tech forks
Steering damper
Aluminum combination gas/ oil tank
Legends Air rear suspension
Like Jesse always seems to try to do,.... while all the other Camel builders were jumping on the long stretched out chopper band wagon,....he did something all together different and much more radical, (for 2002 anyway)

Yea, with the mid controls, the cheek of your ass would be the first thing to get hot.
But I don't think it would be much worse than running the FU pipes.
Besides, with a chromed, metal seat,......how far are you going?

The downtube ruins that bike. I don't like the look at all.

I dig them old school flake jobs, since he's LBC he takes alot of that old school Lowrider multi color candies and flakes and incorporates them into the paint schemes. Lowriders been doing it for a while now. Im glad too, so much more out there than black. Not that i dont like black. but for the coin dem cats pay for a bike from WCC its nice to see some nice paint.
