How things change. Last build of mine was 14 years ago, and then life gets in the way, and now my nephew and I are building up another hardtail. This site was a gold-mine for information. Every place I used to buy from, Krooners, Meanstreets, etc. are all out of business now, and Jesse James FTW foot controls are going for $2600.00 on Ebay. WTF?!?! Where are you guys going to for your custom parts these days? I'm looking for a front end next?

Might be getting the itch again. As you may or may not remember, I sold my CFL project almost 3 years ago after a hospitalization for back issues gave me the realization that building/riding a rigid chopper might not be a great idea. I know who bought it and saw it built. I had done everything except brake and oil lines, and got it running.

I'm not thrilled with the guy's paint choice but, still hurts a little inside to see every part I chased down, searched for, and bought for years, going together in someone else's garage.

Well, lots of things have changed in my life. Got divorced, (got a clear head now), built a new house in a new town with a good chunk of land, got a new hot rod, 33 Chevy Coupe, (still have my 68 Z28 and my custom Fatboy),...and now I'm itching to build another bike.

I still have the love for WCC bikes, but now I'm thinking softtail style. Maybe a Dragon frame based bike, or even an El Diablo II. Just thinking about it,....I don't know,....shit, since Jesse's new summer home is here in RI,...maybe I can get him to come by and help me build it,...lol.

Whatcha think?
