my CFL re build

Well I decided to finally fix things on my bike that I think were not done correctly.
Such as moving the coil from the battery box to under the transmission, putting the regulator under the transmission, putting the battery where it belongs - in the battery box and lastly re-doing the entire electrical cabling. The brake light was also on the wrong side so new bungs needed to be nicely welded on the frame so a license plate mount with the brake light could be installed.
I must say I'm happy with how it all came out. I want it to be a close to true representation of what a WCC should be if it was done by JJ.

The bike is registered as a WCC with a true WCC VIN number (1W9RJ250XXXXXX)

Id post pics but I'm not sure about Photo Bucket anymore.

It’s about time someone revived this thread. I’ll post my CFL when it’s finished.

If you look at a modern Chevy or Ford motor you will notice
the coils near the spark plugs. Why did they?
Coils don't belong under the transmission with 5 foot spark plug wires.
That was a mistake done for show bike purpose.

Mistake or not it works. I’ve been riding the bike for a week now with no issues. Runs nice and glad I did what WCC has done. I use Accel 8.8 with RFI suppression.
As I said, I just want this bike to be as close as possible to a WCC shop built bike.

Hello to all. I have a 2011 Big Bear Chopper Sled 300. I need to replace the Regulator Rectifier. Mine actually fell off. I thought I secured it well but someone stole it. Ive been trying to get a replacement and have looked everywhere. I even called Big Bear Choppers but they no longer are in business. I did track down the owners but they didnt know the part number. Can you point me in the right direction? Thank you in advance and be safe brothers.

I need the part number..

When I bought this 6 years ago lots of things were wrong on it to be called a WCC “clone”. It had the wrong seat on it, the battery wasn’t in the battery tray, it had a Ultima beltdrive, the license plate and light were on the wrong side, the front brake rotor did not match the rear brake rotor, the forward controls were all wrong, it had some off the shelf kickstand on it and the regulator and coil were in the wrong places. All of these issues have been corrected including re doing the entire electrical wiring. I have also added the little details such as 12point screws wherever possible. If JJ sees it I’d hope he’d be proud!
