Talking My First Build... an 06 CFL 2Up 2Out

Been watching all these wcc builds forums for years. Always wanted to own one just could never afford one.
Always been my dream bike since I was in elementary school watching the shows and having the cheap Walmart parts on my bicycle lol and wearing all the shirts and what not.

3years ago I ended up trading my ar10 I just built to a buddy for his 06 cfl frame that he was getting built by a shop. Story is they cut the trans mount and all the other mounts off to RSD it... and someone broke into the shop and ended up stealing everything but the frame... so my buddy lost all interest and didn't want anything todo with it any more.

So now I've had it for a little of 3 years now...
I've been collecting pieces as I've been finding them.
And just recently I just started to build it finally... so ill post pics and what not as I build it for all you guys to see.

Envisioning its stance

I ended up getting a wcc rear fender and a villain tank. And a tombstone front tin as I found em. I got a set of billet trees I think they where 5deg rake. Smooth tops. I got a set of 8in risers machined... since I couldn't find a set of the right price. I got lucky and found a matching set of doom wheels... 21 front and a 18 rear. Brand new.... never been mounted... 20mins away from my house.... talk about lucky. I think the legs are 10deg over stock... and already painted gloss black... might switch to polished set

100th anniversary twin cam 88ci

Ended up getting this twin cam 88ci in a trade awhile back.
Complete motor with like 30k miles but the timing skipped a tooth n the valves smacked the pistons... ended up finding a brand new top end kit for 100$ on Craigslist. Motor came with some nice s&s cams n gear drive to.

Getten them pieces

Found a bdl 3in open primary brand new never installed. Couldn't pass it up. The twin cam adapter plate came on so I set the motor in the frame. Ended up setting my hell bents on there while I was at it... might chrome em and use black exhaust wrap on em... idk yet. Ended up getting an oil tank and have it dangling with wire since I have no mount made yet. Ended up finding a wcc primary cover and a wcc chopper fucker air cleaner off egay.

After I realized it... I was pretty mad

So I ended up getting these badass floorboards off my good buddy Scarlett who got em from jesse james... cool little story figured ud guys get a lil kick out of seeing em... idk what ima do with them but might just put them up in my lil collection.

So I got the tire mounted up in the bike... and no matter what I did I could not get the front sprocket to line up with the rear sproket... called a few people and could not figure it out got different offsets and all the b.s... then one day I realized I have a stupid ass belt drive primary spacer on my primary... and thats why everything was off a whole inch... made me so frustrated and mad but hey its my first time doing this from scratch so live and learn lol....

Another issue...

So I tried to mock up the fender and then shortly realized I could not get the spider web struts to mount flush... then after some research I'm running to tall of a tire... I have a 200/55x18 when apparently I'm supposed to have a 200/50x18... so I'm on hold until I get another tire...

Fixed my mistake and got the transmission sitting where its supposed to... 1 in back over lol... and now magically the front sprocket is lined up with the rear sprocket and have room for the sportor this time... still gota remake the lower trans mounts tho.... little by little

Fixed is fixed

So everything is fixed n back to being tack welded in. Chain looks like it's got plenty of clearance all the way around... so now I just gota wait on the correct size tire to show up so I can finish mocking up the rear fender.... and battery after that
