Sturgis special front end

Is it a narrow or mid glide? Looks 41mm?

39mm narrow with the first style of El Diablo lowers (pre-Talon).

Jesse claims Harley-Davidson copied the smooth fork lowers he designed for the El Diablo and introduced them on the Softail Deuce. Probably why they look like 41mm units to you. But the Sturgis Special is definitely a narrow glide. They made 39mm and 41mm versions of these forks, same as they did with the Talons.
