Last time the shop offered them they had to bump up the price from $4000? to $7000 because demand was high and the frames took longer to weld than anticipated. I did the mental math and I can't justify springing for it, even after flipping all the parts I have that I wouldn't be able to use. I think I might cry.

2007 West Coast Chopper

Here is a nice CFL in San Diego almost complete and has very nice parts and a interesting and sad back story. Make sure you go to the site listed inside the ad Brian's west coast chopper .com for great pics. If I had the means of finishing it I would ship this cfl to Minnesota

that coffin looks awesome! I had one on my shovel for a while but its on the shelf now due to tuning issues and generally shitty performance couldn't pull any decent hp or torque#s either from running it on a crank dyno!
tried a velocity stack and it was a bit better!
threw on an ugly s&s teardrop a/c and it came alive right away!!!

At that price point it's more of a shelf ornament than something you would subject to actual use on a bike. Imagine dropping your bike onto its right side...

Some people pay a lot of money for art, be it a painting, sculpture, or what have you.

On the DD air cleaner price is about right. That's a time consuming job. What's the best old school hammer and chisel artist worth per hour? More than a Plummer or electrician? I think so...
