Anyone building a bike using a frame by this obscure ompany?

Seriously, these frames can be had with a title for a fraction of the cost, they have a hell of a lot more laboratory and real world testing then any of the customs and fitment with HD parts is almost "bolt on" easy. OK there is not a lot of rake in the neck and a couple of silly looking struts sticking out of the back but that is why god gave us blowtorches.

But are there any other good reasons to avoid using an HD frame when making a custom?

How much does one of these frames with a title go for?

sure. This was mine but there are others. at Pinwalls (sorry Pinwalls not pinwells).

link

here are some more......
http://stores.ebay.com/PinWall-Cycle...&submit=Search

hint: they run an auction every week week or so and the auction one is usually priced the best.

If you need a titled frame it is a bit more but these guys dont give you a title so the frames are a bit cheaper.

Thanx Ron,

Was just coming back to say I stumbled across em on e-gay. Looks like some pretty good starting points for builds

The back wheel in pic is from an R6 and cost me $150 (with hub, rotor and sprocket) and I got a line on a Steed front end that I may be able to mangle into something workable for $200. So that sets me at $500 for the roller and $1000 for the 883 and UKLee was super cool to donate me a carb...so doing my own tanks and fenders and wiring I may be able to get a Decent chop for just over $2000 bux. It will not be a barnstormer and there are a few compromises I will have to make on the styling but under $3000 for sure with real nice paint job.

I had thought that once upon a time I had a build thread for this bike but can't find it now.

Just to update the bike came in at about $2500 in parts/paint and has been in service for about a month with about 900 miles on it so far. It is fouling plugs and runs better with the choke pulled a bit. Not sure why yet but I am thinking may be because either the carb (Free from UKLee...thanks bro) is jetted for the wrong engine or because my EFI intake manifold still needs to be fitted with a MAP sensor to get me some spark advance so if fitting a MAP sensor don't fix the problem I will look at re-jetting the carb next.

Went on a 100 mile local run around this weekend so now it's time to get in a find out whats going on with the mixture.
