I looked it up and the Dream was produced in varying forms from 1949 to 1969. I had one in 1970 when I was 16 years old.

Here's a link with various photos and you can somewhat see how the tank changes over the years.

I think the mounts are wrong for honda......and the gas cap is to far to the rear
Maybe Hondaka or brigestone or montessa or CZ.....

The cap is a bit too far to the rear and yea the mounts seem to be different and the place where the kneepads are has more styling and the emblem is in a slightly differnt place. Any of these I might be able to attribute to a bad picture but this tank just dont match any Honda Dream exactly and it aint from lack of looking. curiouser and curiouser.

Allstate, thats my guess....or at least something Brit.
And it looks alot like and old Allstate but I looked through a lot of pics of allstae bikes and didn't find an exact match. I am not saying it isn't and Allstate or a Dream but if it is either it would have to be a very rare example.

It turns out it was an early Honda but not THAT Honda. Yours has a triangular kneepad and mine is more squarish.

I don't think it is a honda tank.. If you look at the location of the gas cap and how it is in path of the center rib of the tank. All the honda's I have seen have the cap out of the path of the center rib and the rib go's from front to back without stopping. just my 2 cents
