Talking Silver Horse Has Arrived.... NOW with PICS

Well I wanted to start a new thread since we are at 3 pages on the original and didn't even have the parts yet.

HOWEVER,, I have recieved the crate today. Don't have the pictures off the camera yet but when I do I will be posting them... I haven't inventoried anything yet will be doing that Saturday night. Bike is delivered to my dads place since he has a bike shop type garage..

Anyway I did see the frame , Tires and handlebars. AWESOME.. Can't wait to open the rest of the boxes.. Ordered lift and that will be here tomorrow as well..

I will keep you all posted.

I am not excited am I ??

You may want to categorize the parts. I sorted mine out by systems. It makes them easier to find. It's also very helpful to look them up in the midwest catalog, and label them, if you're not sure what they are.

Fijensen- Well I have to inventory them. Richard (Jireh) faxed me the part sheets with name and numbers and what I didn't recieve I will need to call him so he can get it out to me.. But he said that he thought I recieved everything. I know all the big stuff is there but that is why I need to inventory everything. .Will doing that some on Saturday night with a cold one in my hand..

Here we go.. Here are some pics.

I didn't receive a bunch of parts. I didn't get the wheels which I was looking forward too. However you can see what they look like with the brake rotor.

Looks like you've got something to keep you busy for a while. I lucked out on my wheels. Jim's Cycle shop is only about 200 miles from here, so I picked mine up. They mounted and balanced both tires free of charge. I saved $400 in shipping also. If you're going to have the frame powdercoated; I'd leave the bearing races out of the neck tube. Mine were installed, and they missed a few spots where they had it masked. It was black, so touching it up wasn't a big deal. You will definitely need to get a piece of 3/4 all thread, and some washers/nuts (and large sockets) so you can press in bearings. The swingarm bearings are very tight. I froze mine overnight, and pressed them in with all thread. The snap ring goes on the inside. The pivot tube fits REAL tight. Have fun.

Thanks guys.. Yeah, I will be busy for a while.. I had one damaged item.. The Exhaust pipes.. They have a bunch of small dents in them.. Just wondering if anyone has dealt with sending anything back due to damage..??

fijensen - For the neck bearings.. The frame will be painted but not powdercoated and as for the items needed for the Neck bearings the guy helping build it has the tools for that..

I will keep you updated..
