Ultima wiring harness fire

Anyone else have this happen?? I have extra fuses to tail light light etc. And on my break in ride, the main harness sparked and caught fire!! I was able to get it home, but as son as I turned the key off, it went out....

Had that happen on a Honda 450 when I was a kid...don't know why it happened, but it was not fun..I replace every thing individually..tough luck..just make sure you have every thing fused..

There's only a couple of ways that can happen, a dead short to ground in a section of wire that has no fuse or relay, the relay or fuse has failed, or the wire(could be power or ground) is too small for the draw from the circuit. I'm not familiar with your harness but traditionally you have a very short run from the battery to a breaker and then everything branches off from there.
