buell help

Can anybody tell me if a 91 buell fuel injected has the same mounts a cv carb? Do you have to worry about any sensors.Or will it bolt right up??

I'm a little confused, did you mean a 2001, not 1991? Buell didn't fuel inject bikes until 1999 on the X1 and S3 models. Either way though, all late model Buell engines are the same outwardly, and the EFI bikes can be converted over to a carb and standard ignition pretty easily.
Take a look a this donor bike article I wrote as it goes over donor selection and the technical differences between years and models.

Let me know if I can be any other help,

V-dude

They are the same bolt pattern as the carb but the factory airbox has a provision for an air temp sensor. you will have to relocate it some where near the air supply so its not to overly effected but the engine heat. Forcewinder uses a bigger filter that has a provision for the temp sensor to slip inside but its kinda bulky looking. I have been just relocating the sensor near the elbows base so it is seeing similiar air temps as the intake.
