i love the tank on that bike but i cant see the 500 option there. i mean if you buy the kit it's $3000. thats 2000 for the frame, then you get the rear fender, oil bag, steering stops, tank, and a couple other things. so thats maybe saying that the origanal mutant tank is like $500, so to get the stretched drop tank your looking at $1000 tank on a mutant. somehow i just cant see it. i really want the streched drop tank but not if im spending $1000 for a tank

Hey Guys,

Thanks for all the compliments on the bike. Met up with Randy in Twin Falls, Idaho Sunday morning to deliver the bike, but managed to snap a few glamour shots here before the bike went away for good. Congrats and thanks to Randy (CC member Corisian) for giving me the chance to build him a bike.

Let me know what you guys think!

Later,
Justin @ Two-Bit Choppers

Justin,

How do you title your builds? Do you just use the title of the donor?

Just curious. I don't mean to hi-jack your thread!

Very nice work.

Justin,

I know Mom alway's knows best, but don't get too much rest. While your gettin' on the next two projects that you have in the works in the back of your mind be thinkin' about the Curves set up with a Buell front end. My S3 is dying to donate it's parts to a good cause. I'm churning some ideas around, and ask that you do the same.

I've gotten a chance to get about 100 miles on the Mutant now. It runs hard. I love it! Thank you.

Thanks for the compliment Suicide! You got my Chopper of the Month vote by the way, probably something to do with the cool ass billet bits on your bike.

Hey Randy,
There is no rest for the weary. I've been prepping my XB engine and wheels, as my RE XB Bobber chassis is supposed to ship this week. I want to pull the sheet off that bike at the Ironworks Magazine show here in Denver over Thanksgiving weekend, so it's going to be a marathon sprint to finish. What the hell though, I figure it's all just good practice if old Hugh King ever rings me up.
What do all those BMC boys think of your Mutant?? Glad you're digging it and putting the miles on, that's what they're for. You know I'm up for a Curves build. You pic some colors and give me the green light and we'll come up with something even hotter than this first one.

All right boys, gotta get to work,
Justin @ Two-Bit Choppers
