What do you think it's worth?

Hey guys,

Got a couple serious offers on my little black mutant that I'm considering, as I've got a bunch of ideas in my head for another bike, but would need the green out of this one to make it happen. So what do you guys think is a fair price for my girl?

2004 Redneck/Two-Bit Choppers
1250cc Nallin Racing prepped engine
Stage III CNC heads,
Millennium Nik-A-Sil plated barrels
10.5:1 forged pistons
.536 cams
42mm Mikuni,
SE Ignition
Bassani Pro Street Pipes
Forcewinder Air Cleaner
Bike made 108 rwhp and 93 ft./lbs. in the Buell chassis right before I tore it down.
Total engine investment $3500

Other bits
Flanders bars
Joker hand controls
Ness grips, headlight and throttle housing
Pro One billet mirror
BDL foot controls
Two-Bit Choppers sprocket cover, axle covers and shift linkage
braided lines and cables
seat by Bitchin' Stitchin', Loveland CO
paint by Two-Bit Choppers
striping by Mart Ford, Longmont CO
new Dunlops on both ends

Let me know what you guys think a fair price would be. I've got her commited to shows through the middle of April anyway, so any buyer would have to agree to take possession after that, so I've got some time.

Thanks,
Justin @ Two-Bit Choppers

Paco want 14k, RE was asking 18.5 for the blue one someone said. These things are popular right now. Remember you are building a bike for someone who doesn't want to build their own. You get to charge for that. Charge what the market will bear. If the respopnse is really good see what happens around 17.5K, if nothing bites try 16.8, and so on. If there's alot of shows you have time to experiment with the $$. Unless you need to pay for that CNC right away!

Hell, the way the market is going it might be more like 21-23K if you find the right RUB! I'm not expert but hold out for a while, if you can. Make sure plenty of people get to see it for sale!

I agree...Start at a ridiculous price and then come down for cash in hand.....

Thanks guys,

We'll have to see. I'm probably going to post it up for sale at the start of next month if everything goes as planned. Then let whoever buys take delivery after Easyriders in Denver.

As the Foo Fighters said, "done, done and I'm on to the next one."

Later,
Justin @ Two-Bit

Easy $20 plus and I don't know shit. Me and a bud are looking at new Victorys' but I don't want a factory bike so been looking at all this stuff on this site doing research, I'm pretty typical of the person who would be looking at seriously buying it. Don't sell for what you want, sell it for what someone will pay. That's a cool ride.

Thanks for the compliments Leo,

We'll see what the market will bear for her this spring and then build another one for myself in time for Sturgis. Who knows though too, I might just ride her out for the summer, hit some more shows and just have a good time. I don't know.
If you and your buddy are interested check out our website www.twobitchoppers.com and get in touch as I'd be more than happy to build you something trick for less than a new Vegas.

Thanks again,
Justin @ Two-Bit Choppers
