New Maltese Cross Sprocket Cover for XL/Buell chops

Hey guys,

Finally got around to knocking out the first one of these 3-D maltese cross sprocket covers I've had designed for a while now. It's cut from 1/2" 6061 aluminum and will fit any XL or Buell chopper or custom that doesn't re-use the old stock Sportster master cylinder mounting spot (on the side of the stock cast XL sprocket cover). Check it out and let me know what you think.

and a close-up detail of the chamfer cuts.

Later,
Justin @ Two-Bit Choppers

Hit our website - www.twobitchoppers.com - to check out our full line of billet accessories for XL and Buell choppers and customs. We've got four different sprocket covers so far, along with seven billet points cover designs (as well offering custom one-off shop designs) as well as a line of shorty shift linkages like the one below. Give us a look and let me know if we can be any help.

Thanks for the inquiry,
Justin @ Two-Bit Choppers

and installed on the bike

LOL Justin I was about to ask the same question as Iron did. None the less, the maltese cross one is very nice. How much would you charge for one? Don't forget the CC discount of course LOL

Jezzz Iron, Chris @ RE tells me its the custom sheet metal that is holding things up. My Frame, r/Fender and custom wedge oil tank are done. The GT is the same as the one on the 'Black HotRod Bike' so it's taking a little time. Almost 9 weeks so far!

Ahh well, gear and primary covers are not back from Chrome yet. I have finished polishing the rocker covers. And I am still trying to figure out if I got the CAMS back in my motor the right way!!! LOL they all fell out when I removed the Gear cover! Justin is helping me.

Hey guys,

Glad you like the new sprocket/pulley cover. It looks a ton better in person, especially the detailing on the edge of the cross. I'm temporarily out of of the little pointy tipped polishing buffers, so I wasn't able to get into the little nooks and cranies as well as I'd like yet. These new covers will be at the same price points as the other ones, check the site for more info.
I've got a chrome shop getting ready to do some samples for me, and give me a quote on doing some covers on a regular basis, and I'm thinking I'll probably send a web and one of these Maltese crosses with a few of the points covers to see how everything comes out.
As far as one-off stuff goes I'm definitely open to doing it, especially right now as we're just getting off the ground and I've got a little extra time. Obviously for true one-off designs I've got to charge extra for the programming time on top of what we'd normally get for a particular piece. On the custom points covers I've done I've priced them at $50, a set of custom axle covers I'd do for $40, and a one off sprocket cover or shift linkage would set you back $150. All of these would be polished prices. Of course this is for a standard, i.e. reasonably complicated design. If you're wanting me to recreate the Sistine Chapel we might have to discuss pricing a little more!
Hey Hobbitt, speaking of your cams, has Aaron e-mailed you yet? I forwarded your message and he said he would take a look and shoot you an answer directely. The guy is brilliant but scatterbrained, so let me know if he hasn't replied and I'll shoot him a reminder.

Later,
Justin @ Two-Bit Choppers

will that brass nuckle linkage work with stock 1200C foward controls??? Im guessing that the maltese cover will no longer let you use the stock rear master cylinder placement neither??
