American Eagle motorcycle info????

Im sitting here surfing the net trying to find out any history about american eagle, then I said what the F*** am I doing, go to the best resource on the web, the members here at Club Chop.. OK, Ok now that the smoozing is out of the way here's the low down.. My bro walked into the local H.D. dealer and ran across a American Eagle motorcycle that they just got. I went up and checked it out, pretty good looking for the price. (12000) out the door. But they couldn't tell me a whole lot about the bike. So all I got so far is that it's a 1999 American Eagle rigid frame, S&S motor not sure about the size, they thought it was a 107" Dont know the miles either cause speedo is broke. Have any of you owned one of these bike or dealt with them??? Is the company still around??? Any info. or insight would be apprec. thanks. later...

My buddy had one, bought it new from Easyrider in Merriville,IN. It was a nice bike. Problems?? mostly starter issues. I believe he had a 96" in it. Someone stoled it 2 mths later. I don't think he even broke it in yet.

American Eagle Bike

**********, thanks for the info. now that you say it, I think the bike model is called BMC rigid chopper. Hey BigChris what did your buds bike look like?? I've been to that EasyRiders before, closed now, dont live to far from it. Calument Harley has the bike I was talking about. Makes me wonder now why the original speedo is missing and the one in there read zero's across the board. Thanks for the feedback. later

All I remember was the color...Yellow with Purple flames, it was a hard tail. My buddy lives in Lansing. I've killed some serious brain cells since then. I think it was the BMC...
