Duty on frame into Canada

Anyone know the rate on a frame? I am going to try to self clear the import to avoid getting raped by UPS and their brokerage fees...thanks.

I'm telling you open up a account with CBI USA | US Mailbox Rental & US Shipping Address Services. have your delivery to there.. for one you will save on shipping .then bring it over the boarder and claim it. make sure you have the receipt and just pay the tax HST only

When I ordered mine through ACM, i paid 130 for shipping, and everything was included, right to my door. There wont be any duty as long as your frame is made in USA. GST and brokerage was even included in my shipment.

I fing that using fed-ex is always a better option as UPS rapes us on the brokerage fees

Just in case anyone else comes across this thread down the road...

i use U.S. Address

is $5 an item, or $10 for the bigger stuff (only time i've been charged $10 is on my frame)
sure i'm only 20-30 min from door to door, but i've saved a shytload on shipping costs as most ebayers are free to US. pick up my stuff, pay my hst at the border (depending on value...there have been a few times now i've lucked out and paid nothing) and homeward bound. there's been a few times too where i'm over and back across in less than 15 minutes lol
