AZ Registration

Registered my new ride today. Went into the the Scottsdale branch, loaded for bear. Notarized MSO's, receipts, horn, lights, no chain guard, no turn signals, open primary. They send me over to the side and a hottie walks out to do the "inspection". We make small talk, she copies down the engine vin, asks if it has lights (I turn it the ignition on so the lights light) and we go back inside. Wait 30 mins for my number to be called, and 10 mins with the agent for the vin and plate (Veterans of course).

$232 dollars later, I have a vin, a plate and I'm on the road.

The only thing they asked me was, "You ARE going to put on some turn signals, right?". I said sure as he applied the VIN plate.

Still took me about 45 minutes but it was pretty easy when I did it too.

Congrats!

I am about to get mine registered here in east Mesa (Sossaman). I have all required except the "muffler". I am running "ground pounders," Three stage open pipes. Should I get inserts to make them "muffled"? Or does "muffler" just refer to exhaust pipes? TIA.
