Thunder Header 2 in to 1 or Rinehart True Duals

I was wondering how much performance will I lose taking off the thundeheader 2into 1 which the headers are cracked and I was told they are junk cause they wont warranty them when they crack. A friend of mine has a Rinehart true duals system that he took off and put D&D fatcat. HOW MUCH PERFORMANCE WILL I LOSE GOING FROM 2 NTO 1 TO TRUE DUALS?????

Your probably not going to notice any difference...A set of pipes have to be a certain diameter
off of the head..this is where it picks up it's horse power...they are designed to create a vacuum
called back pressure, or a lack of it..if it is the right size..
so that exhaust gas is not forced back into the head..the tail pipe has less to do with it..ever notice a dragster, there are no tail pipes, it really doesn't need it..just the right size pipes..am I right?

More info please...
What kind of bike? Engine size? Cam?

I ran a set of Rinehart TD on my softail. They sounded great but I did notice a little dip at the bottom. IF you do the right cam you wont notice it much. I was running a 54 cam with mine and that contributed to the low end dip that I noticed but after 3000 RPMS she ran beautifully.

Another thing to consider...If your not drag racing then just go for what you want as far as looks and sound. You can always add lollipops to the baffle in those rineharts and it will help the low end a bit. I speak from experience on that one.
