Shop Update

Well last week we had the worst headache of all. There is no good time for the main money making machine to shit the bed but 4 weeks before the Smokeout7 chopper rally and it shit the bed! Thought it was the old beat up foot control so I had one overnighted out of Ohio for $200 and it wasn't it. My brother stopped in to check out some stuff internally and found some resisters (?? guessing) burnt out. Well now this is an Airco 300 amp squarewave tig welding machine about 22 yrs. old. I decided even if I could get it repaired that it would take way to long so we thru in the towel and bought a new 200 amp Miller squarewave. Gotta tell ya this baby is a cadillac. It's air cooled but should keep us in the game building frames and gas tanks for a while. We did loose a few days of productivity screwing around with the Airco but were back on track. Also currently we added a new addition to our JD Squared tooling. One of the members on the board Vtwin60 sold us his 2" die set at a great price. Thanks again Nathen. So it's back to scrambling making gas tanks for the rally,in addition to our customer orders, we'll be there set up as a vendor (first rally as a vendor). So hope to see some of you guys down there and please stop by and say hi at the "tanks by tigman" booth..thanks for reading.....Tig out......

Hey Lee how's it going? Rock-vegas is as usaull. The roads suck from the winter time plows but other than that were pretty busy..I'd be glad to build a tank for your bike. I know it's tough to find time. I'm booked into July right now. So give me a call when ya can and we'll fit you right in. ......thanks...........
