SPS Meathook Build
Hey guys and gals, just ordered a Meathook roller today. Hoping to do a pretty lowbuck build and KISS-keep it simple dumb-ass (wait, thats not how it goes!)
Anyway the bike will have a chrome springer from SPS, drag bars and a king sporty tank mounted high on the back! i've already scored a used 80in. crate motor with a S&S carb and crane ignition, now just trying to find a good deal on a trans and primary.
Looking forward to talking with ya'll and sharing this new project
LATER!

Here's some pics. Everything showed up on thursday, by friday I had it rolling and had the seat and tank mounted. Still have to center the back wheel and mount the fender but I guess I have to wait to get a primary and chain/sprockets to do that.

Forgive "a stupid question", but what is a "crate motor"?
Is it a re-built engine? Sorry, new guy trying to learn all he can here.
Respectfully,
Mike

Crate Motor is usually a new motor that is completely assembled and ready to install. They are shipped in boxes or crates, which is where "Crate Motor" comes from.

I always see "EVO crate motor" in bike kit ads. I thought it was a rebuilt engine.
Now I know!
Thank you Sir.

The SPS Meathook is a nice build project, they make for a damn good looking scooter.
