Latest

Here's the latest. GMA hand controls, drag pipes, sporty tank (although I'm switching to a King sporty so I can at least make it to the next gas station).

Stock Evo and 5 speed tranny from West Virginia Harley. They sell a complete drivetrain package, ignition, carb, primary, starter, etc. Took a lot of the guess work out of all the details and it's reasonable price.

Is this your first build? The reason I am asking is that I am in my first build. I am building one of Sucker Punches Meethook Rollers. So far I have pretty much purchased everything from them such as both hand and foot controls, kickstand, and some knurelled aluminum hand grips. Now I am in the process of the brakes, drive train, wire harness, etc. So any help to point me in the right direction would be of help.

Yeah my first build too. I've been getting a lot of stuff from them also because I know it works. I'm just about the mount the tank and then I'm pretty close to tear down. Not that I have a lot of information right now but let me know if you have any questions or need pictures, etc.

Yeah I've been lazy in posting pictures lately, I'll get some more up soon. I took the frame, fender and tank to the painter a couple weeks ago, he should be done in about a week. I ordered a bunch of details to finish it up so I'm on the home stretch now. The wait is killing me.
Ordered my harness yesterday too with automotive style switch - I wish I would have thought of that.

I know what you mean about the wait. I hope I will have mine done by this time next year. Good luck can't wait to see it finished.

Paint

Got the parts back from paint. Similar scallop style as seen here on a few bikes, but changed it up a little. The red is "Blaze Red Crystal" from Chrysler. Changed the white up a little also and brought it down the tank more around the filler neck. Will post the latest assembly pictures too.

I really love how you fellas are painting the frame something other than black. Don't get me wrong, black is still a great color, but I always love a frame that matches the sheetmetal and really jumps out at you. I have plans to do the same myself. Looking sweet Karl! I can't wait to see assembly pics!
