Well I sure hope its all do-able

Yeah they bars are "Z" bars. I didnt realise there was a handle bar to seatr measurement! Know any details about it?

Surely the spike would pass! But either way Randy said this would be an additional to the S&S tear drop so Ill have an alternative there.

As for the lights, check out the ones that come with the Godfather Kit. They are from Chirs Products, but sorry I dont have any links

There are a few alternatives for oil coolers. There is like a really skinny radiator type that mounts frun the underside. They are from Jaggz. There are "V" types that mount on the front part of the frame. They look ok but they definitely arent concealed. There are also come small conister type ones which I was looking at getting. They also have a pressure gauge on the ends. Check out jpcycles.com as they have a whole heap on their site.

Im hoping the Dakota digital will cover most of the gaugues for me, and like you, just have one or two improtant once concealed in some places.

I was also checking the forums, and there was a mention of a VIN. Does yoru frame have a VIN cause you will need it and it needs to get stamped on the frame for Rego?

Steve

Yeah my frame has a VIN, so will randy's. If a frame doesn't come with a VIN I'm pretty sure it's useless.

The spike may pass, but I have a feeling they would think it's dangerous in a crash, same reason why bikes don;t have front number plates.

I don;t know the measurement of the top of my head, but there are 2 you need to be within to be able to pass the bike, I can get the info for you, it's in my emails somewhere from Pedro. Or someone on here will know it off by heart.

The things that have to be within spec is the length of the forks from the neck to the front axle, and the height from the handle bars to the lowest point on top of the seat.

Godfathers are Animal Bro

I brought one of these kits a few years back with intentions of putting it on road within 6 months, it took a hell of alot longer but i have no regrets
not everything in the kit was usefull for Ausi standards but the quality of the parts SMW supply are A1.
We had alot of headachs with this bike and most was due to engineering

There is alot that has to be done to make these bikes meet Ausi standards and the truth is after i had mine complied with everthing that i have done to make the beast (TITANIUM) look the part it would not meet standards now, so you just have to run the gauntlet and try not to piss the powers of
Check my Pics

Where are ya pics Dazz? The rego specs are fucked, destined to make awesome bikes and cars look like shit.

I'm going to be laughing at how bad mine will look when I take it over, first thing I do when I get home is start ripping shit off!

Hey Daz!

Thanks for your input and awesome looking bike!

can you give me an idea of what the engineering headaches? What have you done now that wont comply? And how much did it cost all up?

And Aussie, click on Dazz's name and in his profile there are pics on the right hand side of the pace under albums

Cheers
Steve
