Beast, I never should have looked at this... LOL
Did the engine come with a manifold and carb for the price on the website?

Not sure Randys reasons for switching to standard rockers.
I'm sure either way you will be satisfied with the power & torque.
Wudup Frank....long time. Hope all is good.

Beast,
spent quite a while talking to Randy today....
As everyone has all ready said , "what a great guy" answered every single question I had, and even some I would have forgotten to ask.
Im sure my engine will be coming from that outfit !!!!!!

Mr. Scary, do you suggest staying away from the Ultima El Bruto engines? I'm looking at the LoBoy kit, but have concerns about the engines they build. Are they better than S&S?

I love them!! When they are tuned right, you won't have an issuse. Now of course, everybody will jump in and Swear to God that they tuned their engines right.

Here we go...
What I will say is that the S&S ssw+ engines have this little thing they copied from HD twin cam...It's called a piston oiler.
A little jet that sprays
oil on the piston skirt, which cools the piston...
That little thing makes an S&S ssw+ more resilient to a bad tune...I.E. Piston slap issues.

Oh go ahead and tell the truth...You know that with a tuned right Ultima, all the S&S is gonna see is a taillight getting smaller by the second!!

So I guess SMW engines are reliable then. What about the cooling issue I saw someone mention?
