NEW LOCATION - Economy Doing Fine

This thread is kinda of in response to S&S closing it's doors.

South Side Kustoms is doing well, we are moving to a NEW LARGER shop in February or March 2009, just waiting for the construction dust to settle, so we have a move in date. Our New shop location is at the corner of Broadway and Michigan in the heart of Buffalo and literally a stone's throw away from Buffalo's greatest summer party spot (Thursdays in the Square) where weekly at 6pm they have live bands and 2 city blocks for motorcycle parking.

We keep adding lines, adjusted our already low prices.

S&S isn't going anywhere....neither is South Side Kustoms nor alot of any of the other new guys. I think these economic times is a time of growth for companies like SSK or SuckerPunch or Nash or Bling's. Harley Davidson and Indian made their foot hold in one of America's bleakest economic times. So will all of us.

If this country had more business owner's like you (with balls) our economy would be on it's way back up. It is people like you that take risks, who become the rich people when the economy does in fact hit the upswing. Good luck and if you were on the west coast we would come by and support the shop...EXPAND THAT BUSINESS AND FUCK THE NAY SAYERS!!!

You know, I was just in Buffalo. They seem to be doing surprisingly well in this economy. RI can't say the same. 10% unemployment and a 350 million dollar budget shortfall expected to be another 100 million short by June. WTF?

New York State as a whole isn't doing as well as Buffalo and Syracuse though.

Yeah that new blind f@#Kin Governor Patterson can't think of enough taxes to make up the deficet. He has now taxed the companies who sell cigarettes to the Native American smoke shops, because he can't tax them directly as that would break treaties.

Actually most of South Side Kustoms business is nation and worldwide then in Buffalo...the rest of the state gets financial aid but Western New York always gets skipped...our state now whats to cut 60 Million out of the school budget...what does this mean. Maybe America can back to those days when you didn't need a COLLEGE education to make a decent living. Come to think of it I have a few friends with college degrees that aren't even doing what they went to school for.

The jobs are out there it's just a matter of what you do, what you are willing to do and how hard you look. Time to get creative with your job skills and search.
