62 Sportster What's it worth?
So there is a 62 sporty up the street from me..Looks to be in pretty good shape..I didn't take a pic but I will tomorrow...I am not a sporty guy
How much are they really worth. Would it be a sacriledge to chop it up...
The nearest thing on craigslist I found was this one...this price seems outrageous..But the bike is almost exactly like it

If it's in good shape - $2,500-3K would be my guess. That bike on craigslist is way overpriced - but there is a sucker born every min.

A 70s or 80s ironhead --sure, chop it up. But that one... I would be leaning toward keeping it stock.
