Top mount hardware

I am replacing hardware and would like to use another of the bullet looking (I am not sure what they are acutally called) nut for the top motor mount. Where can I find one or is someone out there making them?
If anyone has equallly nice looking alternatives, wouldn't mind hearing those either. Thanks

Much bigger than the acorns and all smooth like a bullet/round. The one I have now is about 1 1/2 inches in length with no flat surfaces. I will get a picure up later, thanks for the response. Might be considered a standoff?

Nice, thanks, closest yet and would work. My first attempt to post a pic, see how this goes. All the hardware is in the pic minus the yankee style mount, bullet looking nut on the right

Bolt Depot - Extra tall cap nut round - in case anyone is looking. I will post pics when done as I looked at hundreds of pics and couldn't find a top mount fastened this way.

18-8 stainless is not a good material for a joint of such structural significance on your bike, particularly with the vibration going on there. Work hardening will engender embrittlement that can lead to failure inside that nut. It might be some time before you see the effects of it.

Don't mean to be a downer on it.

Not at all, I appreciate the input. What do you suggest? I've got the thing set up now and want to redo it before it starts to fail. Do you have the same concern regarding the bolt as weill if same grade etc.?

Sorry, just got back here.

Chrome plated grade 8 is best. Be sure it's from a reputable manufacturer that bakes to relieve hydrogen embrittlement caused by plating process.

Fine threads resist vibration loosening better.
