Engine assembly issue with 1200 upgrade...Need help

I bought the 1250 upgrade kit from NHRS. I was working on the engine tonight. I went to put the pushrod tubes back on and they won't fit. It seems the side of the tube is hitting the 4th fin down preventing it from seating correctly.
Comparing the new jugs to the original ones it seems the 4th fin comes out farther than the old one.

Anyone have this issue? Any suggestions?

here's a coupleof pics

the later 1200's case is wider. you'll have to file the fins to fit the tube, i had the same problem fitting big jugs on a 80" evo. Did you get new tubes and rods with the kit? They'll probably be different also.

I called Dan. He said no one has ever had this issue. He suggested grinding the fins
