Vintage Electric Motorcycle

Check out this old electric motorcycle I saw today. The guy at the radiator shop who is sealing my tanks just got done restoring it. It's an early 70's "Corbin" Electric Motorcycle. I thought I had seen every kind of bike there is, but this one was a new one on me.

...He also showed me pictures of his old 1930's Knucklehead Chop that he built in 1970-1972 (said it took 2 years to complete, since back then he had to make all the parts for it). He had a 3 page magazine spread on it from 1972. Real cool, interesting guy.

None of you thought this was cool? I know it's a POS, but still, look at the rarity of it. The damn thing is nearly 40 years old and its "Environment Green". This dude Corbin was ahead of his time.

I like it for the cool factor! I'd park it in the garage and just get it out for bike nights!! That would be a hoot!

Yeah, i dont think it would be good for much except as a conversation piece. I doubt it has enough power to pull a string out of cats ass, but I still think it's cool. I cant get over the fact that there were less than 24 of them made and I stumbled onto one of them (in great shape) in a country radiator shop in MS LOL

See, that is the really cool part! You found it in a basically out of the way shop where most people wouldn't even think about finding something like that! That increases the cool factor by 100 in my book!

Man, that things gotta b worth some coin if their were only 2 dozen produced.
Wonder what it would go for at an auction like barret jackson or the vintage motorcycle auction.
