Need wiring help please.
Hi there, currently near completing my first build, but having some head scratching with the wiring which I was hoping to get done today and get her fired up, could someone take a look at my diagrams and give me some help with it if possible please? The motor is a FJ1200.
This is what I have come up with, but doesn't seem right to me, first of all the starter will always turn over, but wont fire unless key is turned. Also the ignition is going to short the generator, but this is how it is from the original diagram? Thinking I need to switch the black wire from the battery to the starter relay so it wont turn over all the time?
This is the original diagram.
Would appreciate any and all help with this, its the one of the last things I need to do before she can be ridden for the first time and am at a bit of a loss.
Thanks alot.

start over,
1.run #14G BL wire from Bat + to fuse block
2.run #6G BL from Bat+ to starter motor fuse it with a (30 amp fuse if you want)
3.run #6G BL from Bat- to frame and starter mount bolt
I'll stop at this point for now, are you running a gen or an alt? are you running mechanical or solid state reg?

1 more thing, is the starter relay a separate module or is it attached to the starter like an HD?

Hi, thanks for the help, the regulator, rectifier and generator are all one thing on FJ1200, its just bolted to the engine block so earthed with two wires coming off it.
And yeah the starter solenoid is a seperate unit.

I'm noticing there is no flux capacitor. This could be why you're unable to accomplish time travel. Try adding a flux capacitor between the vegomatic and the rectumfryer and you should be fine.

Don't key your generator connection.

GND your igniter.
GND your lockout circuits on the igniter - like the kick stand switch and the clutch switch.
