what about rear view mirror glue... I know someone who glues emblems on with it..its clear..it hold up to rear view mirror weight in a hot car & cold...

blu-loctite, jb weld, evercoat panel bond, 3m 8115, 5min epoxy, and many other great options. I used a dab of jbweld on an older one.
