Speedo wiring help???

Where does the "Speed Signal Output" wire go to on a 1996 and newer Softail, or on a 2003 newer Softail ?
I'm trying to put a newer Harley electronic speedo in my 94' Heritage.
Thx

99 - 03 speed signal output wire (white) goes to pin 9 on 12 pin. Also if your putting a older speedo on a 04 or newer bike its not going to work 100 percent because the older bike didnt have ecm, cruise and all that . turn sig, self canc and speed should work fine though. Thats about all the old speedo had.
