engine keeps dying

hey guys,got what i hope is a minor problem..my Titan roadrunner keeps dying on me.dyed 2 times coming home todaykinda sputtered spit backfired and died..got it home started it a few times the same thing would idle for a few mins then the light n everything would die..unless i had it throttled, hooked up my trickle charger and it would sit there and idle...Sure could use some help spring just started and im baffled was really stoked about getting ready for the summer..any ideas guys im listening to all thoughts...thanks my brothers in the wind!!!

1. Fuel? Well, it sort of starts and dies... Later for this one.
2. Compression. Can't be that, it fires all the time. If it was compression, no start at all say.
3. Spark? Looks like my:

A. Fuel keeps me at idle I have to rev the engine some. Looks like [not fuel], if it can idle and take off.
B. Not the charging system. This is WATT is feeding the jobber in question?
C. Battery? What is the voltage now sitting? Start the bike. Did the light go dim? Starter ticking? Make sense?

You received the best suggestion in the first thread you started about this same problem.

My question would be: Have you done that? You said you were going to!

Also at the same time drain the old gas out of the carburetor too.

It wouldn't help to replace the old gas in the tank without doing the same with the carburetor.

Vapor Lock? Check Tank / Cap Venting.

If I read the post correctly, he said it would idle properly when on a trickle charger. Sounds to me like it isn't charging and battery is out of juice.
