speedo question

Running a 21" front tire. 1:1 or 2:1 What application do I use

Depends on the speedo you are using but most late model 21" bikes take the 2240:60 ratio drives. The Speedo and the Drive need to match each other.

I thought most pick up the speed from the trans sensor now... maybe this is a older speedometer set up....

pitbull I'm running a 92 sporty in my build. I don't think the speedo sensor is off the tranny. I think it's only off the wheel.

Anyone have any thoughts on this

John, I'm just looking for a basic inexpensive manual speedo. I saw a couple on Ebay . One is 2:1 and one is 1:1. It's going into a custom build with a 92 sporty engine
