I wont dispute it to start an argument here-I'm just relaying what I'm told by a fellow Builder/Dealer.

I won't get into a pissing match either, but you can tell him his spec sheet is 100% wrong.......and that I'll guarantee.......just like a BAKER tranny.
As I mentioned, those trannies were used from late 2003 up until AIH closed in 2008. Some of the earlier model years had Jim's trannies.

Do I have to go to a BAKER DRIVETRAIN re-educa.. I mean school to become a BAKER DRIVETRAIN dealer, and spread the word about BAKER products, and that BAKER is made in the USA, by AMERICANS which in turn supports AMERICAN FAMILIES employed by BAKER DRIVETRAIN because that's what BAKER does employs AMERICANS and HAULS ASS!?

It probably needs a proper pushrod adjustment or you might have some clutch drag that needs attention....there's allot of guys here who could help you with that if your at a loss.

Roadmax IS junk.
Proof is in the puddin'. Roadmax trans are straight off the shipping container, low quality, death traps. My '03 Outlaw with a Roadmax locked up at 50 MPH with less than 6,000 mi. Snapped the belt instead of locking up the tire...thankfully. I run the piss out of my machines, that's what they are for. Installed an Ultima 6 speed, same one they run with the "El Bruto" 124". Shifts smooth as glass now. LIVE FREE RIDE HARD!

Hey Brothers, sorry for hijacking your conversation but I have a 2004 Texas Chopper with about 3k miles on it and I do believe it has a Roadmax tranny in it. Right now I am having a problem finding neutral and 1st gear when moving and coming to a stop. In my garage and playing with it I will find both and it will go in and out of neutral and 1st gear every time no problem. But once the bike is moving and coming to a stop sign I can't find either and have to use 2nd gear. Any experiences or thoughts??
