went back to the shop to get the new coil that I tested before and put new plugs on. It ran great. But I have a feeling its just a flook. Also did a ohm test on the new and used coil and got the same reading 2.86. Going to let the bike sit over night and try out the new coil in the morning.
ILL BE BACK......

rudydog, your ignition module is lunching itself.

If you would read the directions for the ignition, it says "never pull a plug wire while the motor is running" This will hurt the ignition module.

I know it is hard to take, but the truth of the matter is your ignition is "going away".

Did you get a volt/ohm meter?

Did you get a reading on each spark plug wire?

Went back to the shop and they were more then happy to let me experiment with the new coil again."Must be because of the holidays" Installed new plugs with new coil a and she made it around the block a few times. I also found a very tiny split in one of the wires that was about a inch from my positive coil hookup. So everything is all good for now.
Its just 2 dam cold to really let the bike prove its self. Hopefully next spring I won't have the same problem.
Thanks for the help guys and happy holidays.....

ok, you got to stop, back up and start over. Buy a compression gauge, open up your repair manual and do a compression test. Then come back.

Did you buy new wires or were they "borrowed" for the test? moving them around and getting fire sure sounds like a bad wire/connection.

Hay guys. Thank ALOT for all the help. Sorry for not getting back with ya but I had come across some unforchanent events but all is well now.
Anyway I changed the ignition and she fired right up and runs very strong. Now my outer primary cover is leaking. Not sure what gasket to get and were from? Jpcycles maybe? Or could I just use a silicone like "the right stuff"?
Also what fluid? neutrol is still hard to get in so would atf work and what type?

you can get the outer primary gasket from HD and I prefer to use TrikShift ATF in my closed primary's.

I like Amsoil Severe gear in the tranny but any decent synthetic tranny fluid should work. The Primary gasket should be the same as HD
