Well, I have one and it's had it's problems.......missing gears while shifting hard, as in getting on it hard. I have one of the earlier ones and supposedly the problems have been fixed. What i can say is Bob sent me the parts to repair this (free of charge) and also gave me the choice of sending the trans back for them to repair or replace (free of charge). I have yet to do this......procrastination on my part. For the money (cheap), it's not a bad trans.

Had to replace my TS RSD shift drum at ~4000 miles as gears would not engage when shifting at higher RPM's (lots of embarssing moments for sure, going for a gear and instead, winding out at high rpm's to neutral). Bob at TS sent a free replacement drum and I installed myself instead of a tranny pull. Then, lost third gear at the ~10k mile mark. Pulled tranny and sent (at my expense) to Bob at TS and he fixed and returned to me (at his expense), but I did not put back in service. Plan on selling it if I can. I reallly did not beat on the tranny; a few hole shots here and there. Maybe I just got a lemon.
In my quest for a problem free tranny, I bit on all the positive hype and invested in a Baker. I want to see for myself how long thier's will live without any problems.

Its an imported tranny no better or worse than the rest of the imports in my opinio. I have used them when a boker is not in the budget

I've got one. Had the same problems mentioned above and Bob took care of it for free. Affordable tranny when ya can't afford the Baker.

The third gear issues have been solved for some time. Unfortunately the mis machined cams caused all of this trouble. Bob continues to take care of these problems and always tries to make the customer happy

Is trik shift still around and if so do they have a website? or a contact? I have a 2005 Redneck and the clutch needs adjusting I cant find anything on this tranny. Redneck told me when contacted that my bike probably had a roadmax or trikshift. From what I have been able to find the serial number starting with a WA is pointing me at trickshift

I have a baker 6rsd and not to happy....Doesnt want to go into first when cold and shifting from 2 to 3 it likes to hesitates and then grabs....Its been fixed once already and now has to be looked at again...For the price of these things they should be bulletproof.
