Swift motorcycle transmission

Does anyone knows what transmission Swift Motorcycle use int theirs bikes(2003), a friend of mine crashed his bike and then purchase it back from the insurance co. with hopes of making it right again. Well, he's going another route and thinking about building something different and is selling some of the parts, I 've check the transmission and from what I know is a RSD but don't know the brand.
Question is how much it's worth, I believe it has around 3,500 miles, by the way, what can documentation do I need to satisfy the Nazis at DMV at the time of registration.(will a bill of sale do or do I need something else?). Thanks.............

i think they use road max or something similar for tansmissions. usually a bill of sale is enough. the thing to check on the RSD transmission is the throwout bearing. they tend to run dry.

Swift has used about everything. You should be able to tell what brand from the serial number.

BOS with serial number noted on it...notorized.

Be sure to check the wreck. Often damage can be transmitted across parts especially if a frame is bent. The stress can be enough to crack or distort cases or at least dent bearing races causing later gremlins and expense.

Thanks every body I think it's a Roadmax, he's willing to give me a BOS notorized and a copy of the title that is stamped non-repairable, so now the question is how much $, being a Roadmax and their value new isn't that high.

You can buy a new Ultima for around $700 kinda kills the value of the used parts. Id say its worth 500 if its hydraulic and maybe less if its a cable type
