No, in '05 it was "standard". Actually, I thought it was standard in '04. But seeing as how OS bought an '04 chopper, I'm sure he's more well versed in the options that year, lol. It was/is hard to keep up with all the model changes each year. Not that it's 'news' to anyone, but AIH wasn't very...prudent...at keeping accurate info on all the models they made over the years. Hell, I had to keep a cheat sheet so I could remember all the rakes, stretches, pulley sizes, etc... It just wasn't written down anywhere!!

Ok. thanks.

When this was bought (Bearfoot landing) it was right next to an 04. Exact dimensions (except the rsd and rear tire).

There was never any mention of of a 35 frame. You think the sales man would have mentioned it.

I thought all of the AIH frames were 38*. My '03 Tejas came with 38* and 0* in the trees. The '04's came standard with 4* trees.

It's all about the geometry.

Tejas frames are different than the Texas chop.

Makes all the difference.

Trail would be all fucked up.

I agree. My point was that my "03 had 0* trees and the '04's had 4* trees. My trail wasn't unsafe, just not very nimble at slow speeds. I'm just saying I thought the '03 Texas Choppers had 38* frames too and I'm assuming 0* trees since 4* trees were an option in '04. What would the trail be on a '03 TC?

But like Dan mentioned...It wasn't a 0 tree in 04.

It was a 35 neck with 3 trees.

Are you sure you have a 0 tree?

Yep, I changed them out to 5* trees. I actually put the dimensions in a rake & trail calculator and it had like a 6-7" trail. With the five degree trees, it brought it down to 4.25 or something. I found it funny because one of the "new" features in 2004 was the 4* tree for the Tejas.

I'm guessing it handled better at slow speeds with your new trees?
