9/16" clutch master cylinder bore?
I am going to use a Jaybrake Tranz Brake on my custom and I need a 9/16" clutch bore. I already have HD controls and was hoping to use a HD clutch master cylinder but they only make a 11/16". Does any one know of a company that makes the 9/16" that matches the HD controls, or do I need to get a complete new set of controls? Thanks TT

I would check with Jaybrake they should work with the larger m/c usaully too big will ok but too small wont fully disengage the clutch. Companies like PM and Brembo only offer 11/16 m/c too but they have adjustable stops on the levers to limit the travel maybe you could devise something like that if they say he 11/16 will push too much fluid for the hydraulic clutch

The diameter not only presents volume but also the amount of hydraulic pressure that can be developed per amount of hand pressure.

Hand levers produce a certain amount of throw and pressure at the M/C. A small M/C will produce a higher pressure for a given input, where a larger diameter M/C will produce a lower pressure and higher volume. Double check with JayBrake. They should have a solution.

All a matter of knowing what pressure/volume is needed at the slave and matching with a M/C that provides the needed volume/pressure.
