Vw Trike ???

Guys this is my first post. A buddy of mine bought me a partially built VW trike but the problems was I could not make a hand clutch work. Im a paraplegic I have no use of my legs so I bought a Karmann Ghia with an autostick so I stripped it last weekend now Im in a need of a Trike Frame. Does anyone know where a guy could find a VW trike frame or just a motorcycle frame with an title?? Im going to use either a inverted or regular Springer frontend probalby 8 over. I want to make it look like a motorcycle.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Dale

If you still have access to the VW trike, could you swap in the Ghia drivetrain, then sell off the extra motor?

Also, I believe there is a VW trike company in the Phoenix area. If not, you could surf the net for a used one (which may be what you are doing right now), or see if anyone else is still building new frames. That would take the fabrication part out of the build.

I went to google and entered " vw trike phoenix ". I got several hits, which may include 2-3 builders, and interestingly a link to a DISABLEDBIKER FORUM . You might find parts or sources there too.....and this was just on the first page of info!

Here is one address: http://www.ratraceproductions.com/

I have searched Yahoo numerous times and I have found nobody in the USA that sell trike frames for VW plenty of Harley trike frames.. So far I have found frames in Australia and the UK and the only club that I have dedicated to trikers in the USA is Brothers of the Third Wheel. So I know how to use a search engine. That triker guy in Arziona is going to be higher than hell, just by looking at his trikes their going to be expensive. Plus I want to make my trike look like a real trike like the one Russell Mitchell built.

Thanks dale
